The subject of this book is the King’s Indian Fianchetto Systems, or variation if you like, which arises after 1 d4 Nf6 2 c4 g6 3 Nf3 Bg7 4 g3 d6 as well as a number of other move orders, many of which will be covered in the book. The Fianchetto Systems have been and continue to be a popular way to meet the King’s Indian Defense. It is a solid set-up for White, but there are numerous ways to unbalance the game. The theoretical main lines with…e7-e5 can be tricky to play for Black and therefore an intimate understanding of the individual positions is required. Thankfully, there are numerous ways for Black to enter less explored paths, ideal for players with limited time to study.
